A sperm whale’s head comprises almost 1/3 of its entire body. Its cranium is filled with spermaceti, a substance coveted by whalers due to is production of higher quality oil. 

I’m explaining/showing this to you because I’m currently reading ‘In The Heart of the Sea: The Tragedy of the Whaleship Essex’ and the ship was struck by an angry sperm whale. Its cool to be able to reference the one we have at work when the author talks about which parts of the whale were prized and whatnot.
